It's Your Responsibility: Know The Code
Tubing, skiing, and snowboarding can be enjoyed in many ways. Regardless of how you decide to enjoy Nutt Hill, always show courtesy to others. Common sense and personal awareness will keep everyone safe!

Skiing and Snowboarding Code of Conduct
- Always stay in control. You must be able to stop or avoid people or objects.
- People ahead or downhill of you have the right-of-way. You must avoid them.
- Stop only where you are visible from above and do not restrict traffic.
- Look uphill and avoid others before starting downhill or entering a trail.
- You must prevent runaway equipment.
- Read and obey all signs, warnings, and hazard markings.
- Keep off closed trails and out of closed areas.
- You must know how and be able to load, ride and unload lifts safely. If you need assistance, ask the lift attendant.
- Do not use lifts or terrain when impaired by alcohol or drugs.
- If you are involved in a collision or incident, share your contact information with each other.

Tubing Safety
- Only one rider per tube.
- You must only use Nutt Hill tubes.
- No walking up the hill.
- Make sure your lane is empty before proceeding downhill. This is your responsibility.
- Tubing chains (multiple tubes connected) are not allowed, unless it is a adult with a tuber under the height of 42 inches.
- Always walk to the end of the lane before exiting.
- Immediately clear the bottom of the lanes and always look up hill when clearing the lanes.
- You are responsible for avoiding collisions.
- Height Requirements: All tubers need to be over 42 inches tall, unless they are accompanied by an adult. If a tuber is less than 42 inches tall, and accompanied by an adult, they must be able to get in and out of the tube on their own, and the adult must ride in another tube tethered to the rider under 42 inches tall.
- For safety reasons, all tubers must be able to get in and out of their tube on there own and exit the tubing lane in a timely manner.

Ski and Tubing Safety
Whether you're carving through snow or cruising on a tube, safety starts with preparation.
- Helmets are strongly recommended for all skiers, snowboarders, and tubers. Nutt Hill does not offer helmets for rent; you will need to bring your own helmet
- Children must be supervised.
- Only ride in designated areas—never outside tubing lanes or ski trails.
- If you fall, move quickly to the side to avoid collision.

Conveyor Safety
The Conveyor is a great tool for beginners, but it still requires attention:
- You must take the Conveyor up the hill.
- Stand still, face forward, and don't sit or lie down.
- Wait your turn and don't overcrowd.
- Exit swiftly and clear the landing area.
